40-30 is a French SME dedicated to maintenance service and engineering. During 20 years the company has developed expertises in vacuum and gas system, electronics, clean process, non destructive test and rear base deployment. Nowadays 40-30 employs 200 persons on 8 sites in France and owns a subsidiary in Singapore. 40-30 works for a large panel of industries (semiconductor, automotive, aeronautics…) and R&D centres (CEA, CERN LHC, ESRF synchrotron…).

40-30’s main activity is related to the repair/refurbish of equipments and sub assemblies, including customer site intervention. 40-30 offers maintenance services for a large range of equipments: vacuum equipment, gas distribution and measure, electronic devices and automation, ultra-clean decontamination of critical equipment parts, and clean room refurbishment of sub assemblies, among others. Moreover, the company also offers technical support and expertise in: gauge calibration according to COFRAC certification (French Accreditation Committee), non destructive leak testing for any king of installation (from facilities tubing to particle accelerator), rear base deployment for on-site maintenance, and technical training for users’ technicians.

40-30 participates in the MEDEA+ project, an industry-initiated pan-European Programme for advanced cooperative R&D in Microelectronics. A project set up and labelled in the framework of EUREKA to ensure Europe's continued technological and industrial competitiveness in this sector.
